WINCHESTER, Ky. — The Kentucky Rural-Urban Exchange (RUX) is excited to announce sustained partnership support from Greater Clark Foundation (GCF). Over the past several years, GCF has been learning alongside nonprofit leaders through its Building Trust & Belonging initiative. That learning continues to shape how the foundation invests, evolving our approach to include both short-term project funding and sustained support for the people, relationships, and organizational health that make long-term community change possible.
We are grateful for GCF’s deepened operating partnership this season as the RUX network grows through more localized support for leaders in the region. GCF is also deepening support for Clark County Equity Coalition, Estill Development Alliance, and Red Oaks Forest School. Together, these commitments represent a significant investment in strengthening leadership, stability, and community-rooted work over time.
“These partnerships reflect our belief that strong communities are built through long-term relationships, not short-term transactions,” said Timothy Johnson, GCF President & CEO. “By investing in organizational capacity, we are helping ensure that these leaders and teams have the space to adapt, learn, and lead with love in a changing environment.”
This work is one expression of GCF’s broader commitment to philanthropy rooted in trust and to cultivating conditions where nonprofit leaders feel supported and equipped to meet the evolving needs of the region.
