2025 Intercultural Microgrant Recipients

Civic Health Fund

The Eastern Kentucky Secular Homeschool Collective will launch Inclusive Families in Conversation.

This is a conversational approach to connecting families and building inclusive, secular home school networks throughout Eastern Kentucky.

We are currently in conversation with over 10 established facilitators in the state of Kentucky, as well as established facilitators in IN, OH, TN, VA, WV, and NC. We have opened up the caregiver conversations to those in our 54-county EKY region and are accumulating responses.

Our Mission

We will document facilitator efforts and experiences in providing families with secular, educational community in rural, red areas as well as the experiences of caregivers seeking secular, educational community.

Intentions

  • Learn how trust and safety are built and maintained

  • Discover others’ intent and drive

  • Identify common struggles and successes
